MEA 1500
Information
Recently I went and bought one of
these Sun MEA 1500 Interrogator for the hell of it for $51.00 off EBAY, mainly
due to the fact I liked the commercial bottom cabinet. If you need a commercial
lower cabinet and there is a junk MEA 1500 or 3000 sitting on top of it then
definitely buy it and put the probes or PC boards on EBAY and trash the rest.
Oh and if it has a 4 gas analyzer module than let me know as I may want to buy
that option out of it.
The MEA 1500, while obsolete, has some uses for cars of our era. It does a
multitude of functions but to realize what It can do you NEED to read the
manuals. Those dirt bags at SNAP-ON who bought SUN provide zero information
concerning any of the older units on their website. So I have provided the
following manuals you will need in a .pdf format to make your life easier. I
also have a SUN manual on analyzing automotive oscilloscope patterns but its a
22 meg file so its not hosted here. I also have a student operation guide that
is also lengthy. If you need them and have a LARGE mailbox I'll
e-mail them to you.
I do not have ANY other Sun manuals or software for any other machine sorry.
